“Truth in Advertising” by John Kenny – narrated by Robert Petkoff

I found this book thanks to this article about John Kenney and William Landay. Landay wrote the book “Defending Jacob” which inspired my audio book rating system.

After reading the article about the two friends I added ‘Advertising’ to my Audible wish list and decided to read it while B was on a business trip since the book sounded light hearted and definitely not scary. Sometimes having the wrong idea about a book is the absolute best way to go into it.

Oh, it’s light hearted and not scary for sure. And it had several laugh out loud moments. I wasn’t sure about it when I began the book but soon I couldn’t put it down. I ended up spending an entire day with it, finishing it that night. My only regret is that the book was over all too soon. I just had to know what would happen next.

I think that’s all I want to say about it. I absolutely loved this book. Oh, the narration was good. I’m on a roll with good narration lately.

How appropriate that William Landay’s friend’s book gets…

Rating: Marriage Material

Oh side note, if I hadn’t had some sort of career in medicine back in the day, I was also interested in marketing and advertising, so I thoroughly enjoyed that aspect of this book. Man this book was awesome! Definitely making the year end top ten list, no doubt.
