Sully the Puppy Raiser

Remember the pilot that landed in the Hudson? I was so impressed with him, I know he was doing his job, but he did such an amazing job. I remember thinking at the time what an amazing pilot he is, and just being enthralled with the story.

I just got an email from GDB, and here is an excerpt: “Most people know Captain “Sully” Sullenberger as the pilot who successfully landed a plane on the Hudson River, saving the lives of 155 people. But here at GDB, we’ve known him and his wonderful family as puppy raisers and breeder custodians.

Recently, the family’s breeder dog Twinkle passed away, and the Sullenbergers applied for another dog from our program. Today, they have a new member of the family, a wiggly yellow Lab named Fame. Fame was presented to them at the Support Our Canine Heroes Wine Gala.:

How cool is that?!? I wonder if he has a blog? 😉
